How We Do Church
Our 4 core values (Our 4 C's) determine how we seek the will of God as a church body.
In addition to Sunday services, we live out those 4 C's with the below activities.
Commitment to christ
At the foundation for all that we do is a personal commitment to and relationship with Christ as the Lord of all.
We know that not everyone who comes in and participates in all the we do has dedicated their lives to Christ, and that's ok. It's a journey, and a personal one.
Then He said to them all, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will save it.
We invite and welcome all people to join us in discovering an extraordinary life by losing the old for Christ.
Discipleship Groups - CULTIVATION
We practice regular discipleship in groups of 3-5 diving deep into God's word together through inductive Bible study methods. We believe depth of relationships with the Lord and one another in order to experience the fullest life for the glory of Jesus as groups and individuals.
Local ANd Global Outreach - Collaboration
We know that the body of the church is diverse in gifts and callings to serve, so we encourage collaboration and service with existing outreach ministries in Austin and around the globe. individuals, discipleship groups, and various combinations of folks in the church family are regularly serving alongside other ministries and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus! See more.
Fellowship Gatherings - community
In Acts we're given an example of the foundations of biblical community.
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayers. — Acts 2:42
A time to enjoy one another, family, meals and to pray and celebrate God's teaching. We are regularly having fellowship gatherings.
Childcare and kids curriculum is available for infants
through 5th grade.
A New Church for Austin, Texas
Dedicated to Community, Cultivation,
Collaboration and commitment in Christ
Perhaps you’re wondering why someone would want to start a new church in Austin, especially when there are already so many existing churches in the city. To put it simply, we agree with author Tim Keller:
“The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for 1) the numerical growth of the Body of Christ in any city, and 2) the continual renewal and revival of the existing churches in a city.”
